Lovelyz member Mijoo recently revealed her very first car — and it’s a head-turning luxury ride.
On August 8, a new video was uploaded to her YouTube channel Just Mijoo, where she gave fans a glimpse of her personal Mercedes G-Wagen.
The SUV is known to cost between 250 million and 300 million won (around $180,000–$215,000 USD), instantly catching netizens’ attention.
When asked why she picked such a high-end SUV for her first car, Mijoo admitted with a laugh, “I didn’t know much about cars, but when I asked people, they said this one looked pretty. I’m easily influenced, so I chose it.”
The idol was also shocked by how well the video performed, saying, “I uploaded it 4 days ago and it already has 300,000 views. Thank you. Why are you all watching this when it’s just me?”
However, while she enjoyed the attention, she couldn’t avoid the hate. Reading through some of the comments, one in particular stood out, “You’re proving you’re empty-headed, haha. With that money, you could buy a Santa Fe or a Palisade and still have a lot left.”
Instead of getting upset, Mijoo just smiled and said, “Next time, I think I’ll try doing a hate comment reading. It sounds like it would be so fun.”
