Actress Lee Si Young has publicly apologized after facing criticism over her behavior at a restaurant in the United States.
On August 10, Lee Si Young uploaded a camping video with her son on social media and included an apology for the “bad manners” controversy sparked by an earlier post.
She wrote, “I always check to make sure there’s nothing wrong before uploading photos or videos to my feed, but I guess I still make mistakes. I’m sorry to those who felt uncomfortable because of my previous video. I will be more careful in the future.”
The backlash began on August 6, when Lee Si Young posted a video of a restaurant in Long Island Beach, writing, “It’s such a beautiful restaurant. If you go to the U.S., you should visit it at least once.”

However, the clip drew negative reactions as it showed the face of a foreign customer sitting near the camera without being blurred, and her son eating while walking around instead of sitting at the table.
Viewers pointed out that the woman in the footage appeared to notice both the filming and the child’s movements, giving the impression that she was disturbed.
Although Lee Si Young didn’t specifically address these points in her apology, she kept her message short and expressed regret.
Recently, the actress has been sharing updates from her one-month stay in the U.S. with her son Jung Yoon, while expecting her second child.
