Actress Kim Tae Hee amazed fans and reporters alike with her fluent English at the world premiere of the Amazon Prime Video series Butterfly.
On August 5, Kim Tae Hee attended the Butterfly world premiere event at Regal Union Square in New York, USA.
During the event, a foreign reporter asked her, “Why should people watch Butterfly?” Without hesitation, Kim Tae Hee confidently answered in English, “It has realistic action scenes and a touching story about family's bond. I believe the audience will find it interesting and entertaining,” introducing the series with charm and confidence.
Butterfly is a spy thriller series based on the graphic novel of the same name. It follows David Jung (played by Daniel Dae Kim), a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent, and Rebecca (played by Reina Hardesty), a current agent tasked with killing him.
In the series, Kim Tae Hee plays Kim Eun Joo, marking her first Hollywood project and her first time acting fully in English.
With this role, she is expected to show a new side of her acting range and make a strong impression on global viewers.
