TWICE is showing their global power like never before, making headlines with record-breaking chart success and a stunning performance at one of the biggest festivals in the U.S.
As TWICE gets ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2025, the group is giving fans around the world plenty to be excited about.
They're rolling out special content to mark the milestone, including their 4th full album THIS IS FOR, a brand new world tour with the same name, their 6th Japanese album ENEMY, the soundtrack for the upcoming Netflix animation Kpop Demon Hunters, and even a documentary film.
But one of the biggest highlights right now is their 14th mini album Strategy. The album, which includes songs from Kpop Demon Hunters, has gone viral internationally.
On the Billboard Hot 100 chart for August 5 (local time), Strategy climbed 18 spots to land at No. 74—making it TWICE’s highest charting song ever on the Hot 100.
Another track, TAKEDOWN by members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, ranked even higher at No. 67. The same songs also saw major success on Spotify U.S. on August 4, with Strategy pulling in 511,773 streams (No. 48) and TAKEDOWN hitting 556,417 streams (No. 42).
TWICE also made history on stage.
On August 2, the group rocked Lollapalooza Chicago at Grant Park, performing as the first K-pop girl group ever to headline the legendary festival. Their powerful setlist of around 20 songs, jaw-dropping choreography, and polished stage presence wowed the massive crowd and created a moment fans will never forget.
People couldn’t stop praising them online, with many calling TWICE “the pride and class of K-pop.”
The surprises didn’t stop there. On August 3, members Momo, Sana, and Jihyo popped up during fellow headliner Sabrina Carpenter’s set. The trio appeared on the big screen during Sabrina’s iconic Juno Arrest stage bit, where she playfully “arrests” celebrities or fans with pink handcuffs. The TWICE members went along with it, causing loud cheers and playful screams from fans.
With new records, bold performances, and non-stop surprises, TWICE is proving once again why they’re one of the top girl groups in the world.
