Actor Kim Kang Min is ready to show a whole new side of himself in his first-ever lead role in a BL (Boys’ Love) drama!

On August 5, it was confirmed that Kim Kang Min will take the lead in the upcoming web drama ‘My Bias Appeared!’, which is set to premiere on August 29.

The romantic comedy is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and tells the sweet and funny story of Choi Si Yeol, a famous idol from the national top group A1, and Ae Jun, a high school teacher who’s secretly a huge fan of him.

Kim Kang Min will play Si Yeol, the idol who ends up connecting with his fan in unexpected ways. Fans are already curious to see how he will bring out the emotional depth and subtle psychological changes of his character through his performance.

Kim Kang Min first entered the entertainment scene as a model in 2016, grabbing attention with his tall height and sharp visuals. He also appeared in several music videos that year, including Yoon Jong Shin’s 'Oversleep', where he made a lasting impression.

He officially started his acting career in 2019 through web dramas like ‘Almost Touching’ and ‘Like’, and later impressed viewers in TV dramas such as KBS2’s ‘Soul Mechanic’ and ‘It’s Beautiful Now’, tvN’s ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho’, and MBC’s ‘The Red Sleeve’. Through each role, he has proven his versatility and acting range, no matter the genre.

My Bias Appeared!’ is expected to capture hearts with its mix of comedy, romance, and relatable fan moments. The drama will be available on TVING, Watcha, Heavenly, KT Genie TV, LG U+ TV, SK B tv, FOD (Japan), iQIYI (North America), and GagaOOLala, among other platforms.
