Park In Young, the older sister of Super Junior's Leeteuk, bravely opened up about her painful experience with miscarriage.
On the August 4 broadcast of MBN's 'Oh Eun Young's Stay', Park In Young appeared as a guest and shared her emotional story.
During the show, comedian Moon Se Yoon looked at Park In Young and asked the other cast members, "Doesn’t she look like someone?" In response, Park In Young made everyone smile by dancing to Super Junior's hit song Sorry Sorry.
When Dr. Oh Eun Young asked if she was Leeteuk’s sister, Park In Young jokingly replied, “I’m Leeteuk with long hair. I’m his noona,” confirming their sibling relationship.
But the mood turned emotional when Park In Young shared her personal struggles in a pre-interview with the production team. She revealed, “My mom and brother might not like that I’m saying this, but after I had a miscarriage, I really didn’t want to meet anyone. I don’t even know why—it just felt that way.”
She also opened up about how hurtful words made things worse. “Someone once said to me, ‘At least you got married and experienced a miscarriage,’” she recalled. “Those words really hurt me deeply.”
Park In Young’s honest confession touched many viewers, as she shared the emotional scars she still carries.
