On the latest episode of Live Wire, rookie girl group ALLDAY PROJECT caught everyone’s attention not just for their performances—but also for a personal moment that’s sparking buzz online.

Broadcast on July 25 via Mnet, the episode featured ALLDAY PROJECT alongside Hanhae, Soyou, and Lee Chang Seob.

The girls performed their debut tracks “FAMOUS” and “WICKED” with confidence and charisma that didn’t feel rookie at all.

But it wasn’t just the stage that got people talking—Annie, who’s been getting attention as the daughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Chung Yoo Kyung, opened up about her thoughts on the title “the chairwoman’s daughter.”

Instead of shying away, Annie honestly said, “Rather than feeling burdened, I want to show more musically and performance-wise so I can turn that label into something positive.”

She continued, “Wherever I go, people bring it up. Of course, it’s something I have to handle,” showing her cool and mature mindset.

Fellow guest Code Kunst couldn’t help but joke, “I want to handle that too,” causing the room to burst into laughter.

Fans were quick to support Annie online, calling her “classy,” “level-headed,” and praising her for focusing on music instead of her background.

The group also impressed with their solid pre-debut résumés:

  • Woo Chan competed in Show Me The Money 6
  • Youngseo was a kid YouTuber
  • Bailey was a K-pop choreographer
  • Tarzan was a model who studied abroad

Debuting just last June, ALLDAY PROJECT has already hit major milestones—like charting on the Billboard Global 200, achieving a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on Korean streaming sites, and winning two music show trophies.

With Annie’s grounded mindset and the group’s strong start, fans are excited to see where they go next.
