Son Ye Jin is back on Instagram—and it didn’t take long for her post to turn into a playful moment with a fellow actress and close friend!
On July 24, Son Ye Jin shared a photo of a beautiful bouquet on Instagram. She thanked the sender warmly, saying, “Thank you. The staff really liked it,” and added, “It can’t help but be amazing.”
But what really got fans laughing was the comment left by actress Lee Min Jung, who’s married to Lee Byung Hun. She playfully wrote, “Why does everything you say sound like ‘It Can’t Be Helped’?”
Her joke pointed directly at the title of director Park Chan Wook’s new film It Can’t Be Helped, which stars Son Ye Jin and Lee Byung Hun—as a married couple, no less!
The day before, Son Ye Jin had posted about fresh vegetables from her garden, saying, “It can’t be helped. We’re bound to get healthier.” Fans quickly caught on that she was sneakily referencing the movie in her captions.
It Can’t Be Helped is Son Ye Jin’s first movie since becoming a mom, and fans are excited to see her back on the big screen. The film tells the story of Man Soo (played by Lee Byung Hun), a hardworking office employee who suddenly gets fired and fights to protect his family and home while trying to get his life back on track.
The film has already made headlines after being officially invited to the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, where it will premiere for the first time.
Son Ye Jin married actor Hyun Bin in 2022 and gave birth to their son the same year. After wrapping up filming for It Can’t Be Helped in January, she also confirmed she’ll be starring in the upcoming Netflix series Scandal and the variety show Variety.
