BTS’s Jin continues to show his massive global impact as a solo artist with his ongoing world tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, and this time, he made history in Dallas.

On July 23 (local time), Jin held the second night of his Dallas fan concert at the American Airlines Center (AAC) — and just like the night before, it was completely sold out.

Even the limited-view seats were full, and extra last-minute tickets released by Ticketmaster were snatched up immediately.

The venue even went over its original seating capacity, but still — every single seat was filled.

Fans filled the venue with purple lights and powerful cheers that shook the building. Jin, known as both the “visual king” and the “live king,” stunned fans with his flawless visuals, stable live vocals, and sweet fan service.

One touching moment was when he wore a heart-shaped hairpin made by a fan during the encore to thank them for a surprise lightstick event.

He also performed his beloved solo track “Epiphany,” causing an emotional reaction from the crowd.

The U.S.-based Pop Core account praised the show, calling it a “breathtakingly beautiful visual masterpiece.” Meanwhile, TouringAsiaPop confirmed that both nights of Jin’s Dallas concerts completely sold out, even noting that he set a new record for the most tickets sold at the American Airlines Center — a record that no other Asian solo artist has achieved before.

This officially makes Jin the first Asian solo artist in history to sell out the AAC, a major U.S. concert venue. He’s also now part of a rare group of artists to push the arena’s ticket sales beyond capacity.

In celebration of this major achievement, the American Airlines Center surprised Jin with several special gifts, including a custom cowboy hat, a giant Wootteo figure, a Run Seok Jin tour plaque, and a custom-made Jin-themed game console. They also released a touching video tribute using Jin’s solo song “The Astronaut” — a high-quality video that received tons of praise online.

The city of Dallas even lit up in purple to honor Jin, showing just how deeply his presence was felt.

Meanwhile, Jin recently topped Echo’s chart as the best-selling Korean soloist in the U.S. for the first half of 2025, thanks to his album The Astronaut. His next stop on the tour is Tampa on July 26 and 27 (local time).

From record-breaking sales to heartwarming moments with fans, Jin continues to prove he’s not just a member of BTS — he’s a solo powerhouse all on his own.
