BTS's Jin is proving his unstoppable global power once again!

On July 21, it was revealed that Jin’s solo album Echo is officially the best-selling Korean solo album in the United States for the first half of 2025. This was announced by Chart Data, which shared that Jin’s album had the highest pure sales among all Korean solo artists in the U.S. so far this year.

What’s even more impressive? Echo was released on May 16—near the end of the first half—yet still managed to top the charts!

Jin also ranked No.2 on Spotify’s “Global Impact List” for Korean artists in the first half of 2025, making him the highest-ranking Korean male soloist on the list.

Fans around the world can’t stop streaming his music. On July 19, Echo hit 400 million streams on Spotify, showing just how popular the album is.

The title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” has been a huge hit. It reached No.1 on Spotify’s Global chart on May 25, becoming the first song by an Asian artist released in 2025 to top the chart.

It also dominated Spotify charts in the U.S., Korea, and Japan. With this, Jin joins BTS’s Jungkook (Seven), Jimin (Who), and the group’s own Dynamite as the only Asian songs to hit No.1 on all three of Spotify’s biggest regional charts. He’s also only the third Asian soloist ever to do this!

In Japan, Don’t Say You Love Me stayed at No.1 for an incredible 41 days on the Spotify Top Songs chart. That makes Jin the male K-pop soloist with the longest No.1 streak in the chart’s history. The song also became the longest-running No.1 for a K-pop solo track without a featured artist. Among all K-pop solo acts, he now holds the second-longest No.1 record—just behind Rosé and Bruno Mars’s APT.

Jin also made history in Japan’s Spotify with Running Wild in 2024 and now Don’t Say You Love Me in 2025. He’s the only K-pop soloist with more than one No.1 hit on that chart!

Meanwhile, Jin’s world tour is turning into a historic event. His concerts in Korea on June 28 and 29 sold out instantly. In Japan, even the highest and restricted-view seats at Kyocera Dome were snatched up. Over in the U.S., both of his Anaheim shows at the Honda Center sold out, setting a new record at the venue.

Next, Jin will perform in Dallas on July 22 and 23, followed by shows in Tampa and Newark. He’s also set to perform 18 shows in 9 cities, including London and Amsterdam. He will be the first-ever K-pop soloist to headline a solo concert at London’s iconic O2 Arena!

Fans who weren’t able to get tickets are hoping for encore shows—and all eyes are now on BigHit for any new announcements.

Jin is truly in his own league.
