Former SISTAR member Bora opened up about her dating history — and it turns out, younger guys seem to follow her around!
On July 21, Bora appeared on the YouTube talk show “Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong Yeop” alongside fellow SISTAR member Soyou. During the episode, host Shin Dong Yeop asked, “I heard you date younger men a lot?”
Bora laughed and answered honestly, “I’ve only dated one older guy. After that, they’ve all been younger. I don’t do it on purpose."
She added, "I usually don’t know their age at first, and they don’t know mine either. But somehow, once we figure it out, I’m always the older one.”
That’s when Shin Dong Yeop joked, “That’s why your nickname back then was Younger Guy Killer,” making everyone on set laugh.
Even Bora admitted she found it funny. “I think it’s strange too,” she said. “Why is it always someone younger? I want to date someone older — I want to be taken care of! But it just never works out that way. I guess it’s my fate.”
She also shared one experience of dating someone 6 years younger, saying things felt off during the breakup.
“You really feel the age gap when you’re breaking up,” Bora said. “We were calling each other ‘honey’ in the morning, and then in the afternoon, he just calls and says, ‘I think we should break up.’ "
She added, "It felt really immature. I think both sides need to be more understanding during moments like that.”
For those curious, Bora was born in 1989, making her 35 years old this year.
