BTS’s Jin is proving once again that he’s not just a member of the world’s biggest boy group — he’s also a powerhouse solo star.
On July 17 (local time), Jin held his first-ever solo U.S. concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and made history. According to TouringAsiaPop, his show recorded the biggest audience ever for a K-pop concert at the venue, officially making him the Korean solo artist with the largest crowd in Anaheim’s history.
Even more impressive? Jin became the first Korean solo singer to sell out the Honda Center for two nights in a row. This makes his solo concert the best-selling BTS show in the area since “THE WINGS TOUR” back in 2017.

The concert was part of Jin’s ongoing #RUNSEOKJIN_epTOUR, which started on June 28 and runs until August 10.
At the Anaheim show, fans were treated to a special setlist featuring songs from Jin’s solo mini-album, like “Happy” and “Echo,” plus his single “The Astronaut,” BTS solo tracks, and even a BTS medley. With his smooth vocals, fun energy, and sweet fan service, Jin reminded everyone why fans call him the “God of Beauty” and the “Live King.”
The atmosphere was like a festival, with American fans arriving in fun and playful costumes, giving the night a Halloween-like feel.

Jin’s popularity isn’t just strong in the U.S. — he’s been selling out concerts all over. From Goyang in Korea to Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Jin filled every seat, even restricted view sections and the upper 8th floor in domes. These sellouts were praised as “rare even in Japan.”
And now, he’s conquered the U.S. too.
TouringAsiaPop shared that 13,000 fans packed the Honda Center just on the first night. Tickets sold out within minutes, and the demand was so high that seats reportedly sold out three to four times over. The box office even confirmed there were no upgrade tickets left, with TouringAsiaPop saying, “If you’re able to see Jin’s concert tonight, consider yourself lucky.”

They added that resale tickets weren’t included in the official count, and all side view seats were carefully counted, meaning the full numbers will be reflected on Billboard charts.
As fans celebrated the moment, TouringAsiaPop declared Jin the “King Seok Jin” for smashing so many records. With just 8 U.S. shows, Jin has already sold over 100,000 tickets, becoming one of only three BTS members to hit this milestone — and the one who did it in the fewest concerts.
Jin is now moving forward with more U.S. dates, including stops in Dallas, Tampa, and Newark, before heading overseas for 18 shows in 9 cities, such as London and Amsterdam.
Excitingly, Jin is also set to become the first K-pop solo singer to perform at the legendary O2 Arena in London, marking yet another historic moment for the superstar.
With fans wondering when they’ll see him again after 2025, one thing is clear — Jin’s solo era has officially begun, and he’s setting records every step of the way.
