Actor Kim Nam Hee, known to many as “Song Joong Ki’s older brother” from Reborn Rich, is officially starting a new chapter in his career!
On July 17, Story Nine Works (also known as Story Nine) announced that Kim Nam Hee has signed an exclusive contract with them. The agency shared, “Kim Nam Hee is an actor with incredible range. We will fully support him so he can focus on acting and continue to take on exciting new projects. Please look forward to what he does next.”
Fans may remember Kim Nam Hee’s powerful role as Mori Takashi, a Japanese officer in the hit 2018 tvN drama Mr. Sunshine. He earned praise for his fluent Japanese, his natural accents in Korean and English, and his deep emotional acting. That performance earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 26th Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards.

Since then, he’s proven his versatility in dramas like Netflix’s Sweet Home and JTBC’s Reborn Rich. In 2024 alone, he’s been on a roll, appearing in Chicken Nugget, BEGINS≠YOUTH, Our Home, and even performing on stage in the play Teveland.
He’s not slowing down either! Kim Nam Hee is returning to theater with the play The Sound of Water, opening on July 17, marking his first stage comeback in a year. He’ll also return to variety shows with tvN’s upcoming program A Really Nice Person. On top of that, he’s currently filming both a global OTT series and a broadcast drama, showing just how busy and in-demand he is.
Story Nine, led by popular comedian Lee Yong Jin, is more than just a talent agency. It’s an IP content company that manages artists, produces short-form content for platforms like YouTube, and develops innovative projects using AI and full-circle marketing. With Kim Nam Hee now on board, the agency plans to expand its artist lineup even more.
With this new partnership, fans are excited to see what kind of roles and surprises Kim Nam Hee will take on next!
