Rookie boy group AHOF is off to an explosive start — and they’re already rewriting K-pop history!
On July 1, AHOF (members Steven, Seo Jung Woo, Cha Woong Ki, Zhang Shuai Bo, Park Han, JL, Park Joo Won, Ze On, and Daisuke) officially debuted with their 1st mini album WHO WE ARE. In just one week, they sold a whopping 360,985 copies, according to Hanteo Chart, setting a new record for all rookie boy groups who debuted in 2025.
The album showed strong sales right from the start — over 259,000 copies in just 2 days and 325,000 by day 4, making it the best-selling debut album of the year. By the end of the week, AHOF also ranked 5th in highest first-week sales of all time among K-pop boy groups, not just rookies.
Their title track Rendezvous (Let’s Meet Again There) also made waves, topping Bugs’ real-time chart right after release. Every song from the album charted high, proving AHOF’s growing impact.

And it doesn’t stop there — the music video for Rendezvous hit over 26.85 million views in less than a week, making it the most-viewed debut MV by any 2025 rookie boy group.
So what’s behind AHOF’s sudden rise?
Industry insiders say the group’s honest and emotional concept is a big part of their success. AHOF connects with fans by showing the inner struggles between fear and hope in a boy’s journey. That sincerity can be felt in their music, lyrics, and performances — touching fans deeply around the world.

Their nostalgic K-pop sound also hit the right note. Many fans said the melody and emotion of Rendezvous reminded them of classic K-pop, something they’ve been missing in recent years.
AHOF was formed through the SBS survival show Universe League and came into the spotlight with strong global fanbases, polished skills, and pre-debut experience. The group’s name stands for All time Hall Of Famer and also represents the number “9” — a symbol of something not yet complete, reflecting their dream to grow into legends over time.
With just one week under their belt, AHOF is already being called the “Top Rookie of 2025.” From strong sales and streaming to chart rankings and stage presence, all eyes are now on how far these nine rising stars will go.
AHOF will continue promotions for their debut song Rendezvous (Let’s Meet Again There) as they take their first steps toward global fame.
