Lee Do Hyun is officially back — and he’s reuniting with some familiar faces for his highly anticipated comeback!
On June 26, his agency Yue Hua Entertainment Korea announced that Lee Do Hyun has chosen the new drama ‘Grand Galaxy Hotel’ as his first project after completing military service. The drama will be written by the famous Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran) and directed by Oh Choong Hwan, the same team behind the hit series Hotel Del Luna — where Lee Do Hyun made a memorable appearance.
Yue Hua shared, “We are thankful for all the casting offers and advertisement requests Lee Do Hyun has received. After careful discussion, he chose Grand Galaxy Hotel as his comeback project. Thank you to all the fans who waited patiently. Please continue to show your love and support.”
Lee Do Hyun has already built a powerful resume through popular dramas like Prison Playbook, 18 Again, Sweet Home, Youth of May, The Glory, The Good Bad Mother, and the film Exhuma. Known for his emotional depth and strong performances, he’s gained a solid fanbase in Korea and around the world.
Since being discharged from the military on May 13, Lee Do Hyun has quickly reconnected with fans, worked with major global fashion brands, and received nonstop casting offers. His decision to team up again with the creators of Hotel Del Luna has raised expectations even higher for what’s next.
Grand Galaxy Hotel, starring Lee Do Hyun, is expected to begin filming in the second half of 2025, and fans are already counting down the days until his return to the small screen.
