Lee Seung Gi continues to warm hearts with his kind and generous actions, living up to his nickname as the "angel of good deeds."

On June 14, Lee Seung Gi participated in the Korean Red Cross 120th Anniversary × World Blood Donor Day Blood Donation Relay Campaign as the eighth official participant. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, and Lee showed his support by joining the meaningful movement.

The beloved singer and actor was appointed as a public ambassador for the Korean Red Cross earlier this year. His connection with the organization goes way back to his high school days when he was a member of the Youth Red Cross (RCY), and since then, he has continued to help others in various ways.

In 2021, Lee Seung Gi donated 30 million won in scholarships for children and teens in need. Then in 2023, he donated a staggering 760 million won to the Korean Red Cross to help with wildfire relief efforts, support mobile food trucks, and fund blood donation buses. Altogether, his donations to the organization have now reached 790 million won — nearly 800 million won in total.

This latest campaign, launched in honor of the Korean Red Cross’s 120th anniversary and World Blood Donor Day (June 14), features a relay-style participation by the organization’s public ambassadors. Each participant takes part one by one, encouraging the public to understand the life-saving importance of donating blood.

A Korean Red Cross official praised Lee Seung Gi, saying, “He’s someone who quietly donates and volunteers even when no one is watching.” They added, “Through this campaign, he genuinely shared the message of giving life. We hope trusted ambassadors like him will inspire more people to join blood donation efforts.”

Fans have flooded social media with love and praise, calling Lee Seung Gi a true role model and saying his actions speak louder than words. Even without the spotlight, Lee Seung Gi continues to shine where it matters most — through kindness and giving.
