The Boyz’s Juyeon has personally spoken up and apologized to fans after getting swept up in dating rumors with actress Shin Si Ah, saying he deeply regrets the situation and won’t let it happen again.
On June 12, Juyeon shared a heartfelt letter through the fan communication app Fromm, directly addressing THE B, the group’s fandom.
“THE B, I’m really sorry for making you wait so long,” he began. “I should’ve come to talk to you earlier, but I kept thinking about how to ease your hurt and worries. That’s why it took me more time.”
He admitted that the delay only made things worse and said,
“I know many of you were upset. Even if most of what’s being said isn’t true, I still feel responsible for everything that’s happened. I promise I won’t make the same mistake again.”
Juyeon went on to say he reflected a lot during this time.
“I got too used to the love and support you always gave me, and I forgot how important your trust is. From now on, I’ll treat your hearts with more care and be more thoughtful in everything I do.”
He added,
“All the words I’ve said to you and the way I’ve acted — they’ve always come from the heart. But because of what happened, I was scared you might think my feelings weren’t real. I regret that deeply. I’ll do my best to become someone worthy of your love and someone you can trust.”
The dating rumors between Juyeon and Shin Si Ah started spreading online on June 10, but both sides quickly denied them, saying, “It’s not true.”
Even after the denial, unfounded rumors about Juyeon and other members of The Boyz continued to spread. On June 11, their agency 1HUNDRED issued a firm statement:
“We will take legal action not only against those who create and spread false information, but also against those who encourage or amplify these actions.”
The Boyz debuted in 2017 with their first album “The First” and have released many popular songs since. Last December, the entire group officially joined 1HUNDRED, and in March, they dropped their third full album “Unexpected.”
Fans are now showing support for Juyeon after his honest message, hoping the group can move past the rumors and continue strong together.
