Actress Lee Min Jung had a tough but fun time during her surprise trip to Tokyo, and it all played out in her new YouTube vlog.
On June 10, Lee Min Jung shared a video titled "Lee Min Jung’s Unplanned Japan Trip That Ended in Disaster – How Teto Girl Travels" on her personal YouTube channel. The video showed her going on a spontaneous journey with no fixed schedule, and she gave the production team a heads-up right from the start.
“I’ll just go wherever I feel like,” she said. “I’ll be walking fast, so follow me if you can.”

The staff replied, “We didn’t prepare anything. We’ll just follow you around. Try asking for permission to film yourself.” Lee Min Jung took it in stride and even used a translation app to learn how to say “Can we film here?” in Japanese.
Her first stop was an observatory, but it was closed for a private event. Instead, she chilled at a nearby café, then headed to Tokyo Tower for some photos. Things were going smoothly when she visited a sock shop that allowed filming, and she even changed into a new pair of socks right away.
But at the next clothing store, things got tricky. She saw a cute dress and thought of her daughter, Seoi, but the shop didn’t allow filming. Only Lee Min Jung went inside while the crew waited outside. Through subtitles, viewers saw a staff member compliment her by asking, “You’re so beautiful. Are you a model?” To that, she shyly answered, “I’m an actress.”
Even at a hat store later on, filming wasn’t allowed. Still, she kept shopping off-camera, and once she stepped out wearing the hat she bought, fans couldn’t help but admire her natural glow and visuals.
Despite the little bumps in the road, Lee Min Jung’s energy and charm kept the mood light. Fans praised how she handled everything with grace, even when things didn’t go as planned.
Meanwhile, Lee Min Jung has been married to top actor Lee Byung Hun since 2013, and the couple shares a son and a daughter.
