Young Seo, who gained attention as part of the final debut line-up for ILLIT, might be gearing up for a powerful new start — this time possibly in a co-ed group produced by the famous Teddy under The Black Label.
Young Seo made her name known through JTBC’s survival show R U Next? in 2023, where she finished strong at 2nd place. Fans were expecting her to debut in ILLIT, a new girl group under BELIFT LAB.
But in a surprising twist, she parted ways with BELIFT LAB in January 2024 before making her official debut. Her contract with the company was terminated, and she quietly left without joining ILLIT’s official line-up.

Now, new reports suggest that Young Seo is preparing to return to the stage — this time as part of a co-ed idol group currently being created by star producer Teddy under The Black Label. The label is known for managing top stars like BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Jeon So Mi, BIGBANG’s Taeyang, and more.
While nothing is confirmed yet, The Black Label commented briefly, saying, “Details will be revealed later,” leaving fans even more curious and excited about what’s next.
With Teddy behind the scenes and Young Seo’s talent already proven, many are expecting something big from this possible debut. Stay tuned!
