Yook Jun Seo, who rose to fame through Single’s Inferno 4 and Steel Troops, is now turning heads again—this time for going all-in on his acting career!
On May 28, Yook Jun Seo appeared at the press conference for the upcoming Wavve original drama ONE: High School Heroes, held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Seoul.
The event was attended by director Lee Sung Tae and cast members Lee Jung Ha, Kim Do Wan, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Joo Ryung, Yoo Hee Je, Yook Jun Seo, and Lim Sung Kyun.
ONE: High School Heroes is a teen action drama that follows top student Eui Kyum (played by Lee Jung Ha), who lives under the pressure of his strict father.
Alongside Yoon Gi (played by Kim Do Wan), who discovers Eui Kyum’s hidden fighting skills, the two form a secret group called "High School Heroes" to take down school violence and bullying.
Yook Jun Seo plays Lee Geol Jae, a mysterious transfer student with a hidden past. Although this isn’t his first acting role, it marks a serious shift in focus as he puts reality shows aside to fully commit to acting.

During the press conference, Yook Jun Seo opened up about his journey. He said, “I felt shy just being here because I auditioned before I really knew who I was as an actor. I’m sure the director was worried, but I worked hard to make every small scene and line feel like me. The director gave me a lot of support.”
When asked what kind of actor he wants to become through this drama, he said, “There’s a lot of action in the show, and since I have experience from Steel Troops and UDT, I wanted to use that to show a strong side of myself. I think I came close to that, so I’m happy.”
He also shared how deeply he’s fallen in love with acting: “Before Steel Troops, I used to express myself through art. For me, art is about showing your voice without worrying about what others think. Acting feels the same. There’s no reason not to do it. I’m going to put my whole life into acting.”
