Singer Soyou opened up about the time her parents’ jewelry store was completely robbed, showing how upset she still feels about it.

On May 26, MBC Every1’s show Hidden Eye aired an episode called Kwon Il Yong’s Crime Rules, which shared real-life stories connected to proverbs.

One story featured a man who stole jewelry worth 27 million won from a jewelry store. Three days after the theft, police spotted the suspect near a gold trading center. After a dangerous car chase, the police caught him successfully.

Watching the case on the show, Soyou said, “From the moment he came in, I didn’t like him. Even the fact that he wore gloves made him seem suspicious and uneasy.” She then revealed, “My parents had a jewelry store, and it was robbed before. That’s why I had a bad feeling watching this.”

The episode also included stories about customers causing trouble, like crashing a car into a convenience store after being asked to buy a plastic bag, and a customer making a scene for being stopped from smoking inside a bar.

Hidden Eye airs every Monday at 7:40 PM on MBC Every1.
