A video recently made its rounds online, showing a surprising moment at an MLB store in Malaysia.
In the clip, a man wearing a black hoodie is seen casually walking up to the store — but instead of shopping, he suddenly grabs a life-size cutout of Karina and bolts!
The cutout was part of MLB’s in-store display featuring Karina as a model for the brand. The man quickly ran off with it, leaving the staff visibly stunned as they rushed to chase him.
Following the incident, MLB Malaysia released an official statement through their social media. They said, “Thank you for your enthusiastic response to the Karina campaign.”
They also reminded everyone, “All in-store displays are property of MLB. We are currently reviewing this issue internally.”
Fans were shocked and amused by the viral video, with many commenting on how Karina's visuals must have been too powerful for the thief to resist.
Meanwhile, aespa continues to dominate internationally. The group recently held their first Japanese fan meeting, "MY-J presents aespa JAPAN FANMEETING 2025 To MY WORLD," at the Pier Arena MM in Japan on May 24 and 25, meeting with their beloved MYs.
