Fans were surprised (and thrilled!) to finally hear Lee Byung Hun on his wife Lee Min Jung’s YouTube channel!

On May 4, actress Lee Min Jung uploaded a new vlog on her channel Lee Min Jung MJ, showing a sweet couple’s getaway to Jeju Island with her husband, top actor Lee Byung Hun. While he didn’t show his face, fans got to hear his voice — and it gave everyone a good laugh.

At the beginning of the video, Lee Min Jung shared, “This is my first time going on a 3-night, 4-day trip without the kids. It wasn’t even my idea — my husband’s foreign friends came to visit, so we’re showing them around.” She added with a smile, “My mom and mother-in-law are working together to take care of the kids. I feel a bit nervous, but I’m also excited.”

Later, while heading to the airport, Lee Min Jung tried to get her husband to talk on camera and asked, “Lee Byung Hun, where are we going exactly?” But he stayed silent. She laughed and said, “Okay, I won’t ask you anymore,” then playfully added, “If you can’t even answer that, what are you going to do?” Lee Byung Hun finally replied, “I can’t do stuff like that,” showing how shy he is around the camera.

Throughout the vlog, Lee Byung Hun didn’t show his face, but his voice could be heard during a few funny moments — especially when he seemed unsure about all the filming. While Lee Min Jung happily talked to the camera, Lee Byung Hun stayed in the background, sounding a bit confused.

On the second day, Lee Min Jung woke up early and jokingly complained, “I’m so sleepy I could die. I’m going to tell the world that my husband woke me up just to eat hangover soup.”

Lee Byung Hun responded in a tired but honest voice, saying, “It’s really hard traveling with a YouTuber. She keeps filming everything.” Fans couldn’t stop laughing at his reaction, calling it “relatable husband energy.”

Lim Ji Yeon showed just how close she is to her co-stars as she tearfully celebrated their big wins at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.

The ceremony took place on May 5 at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, with hosts Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum leading the night. Lim Ji Yeon attended as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in the film category for Revolver. Though she didn’t take home the award, she drew attention for her touching reaction to her colleagues' wins.

First up, her The Story of Mrs. Ok co-star Chu Young Woo won Best New Actor in the TV category.

During his heartfelt speech, he humbly said, “I don’t think everything I’ve done so far is just because of me,” as he thanked the production team.

When the camera panned to Lim Ji Yeon, she was seen holding back tears but smiling proudly.

Later that evening, Lim Ji Yeon couldn't hide her emotions when Jeon Do Yeon—her Revolver co-star—won Best Actress in the film category.

As soon as Jeon Do Yeon's name was called, Lim Ji Yeon immediately stood up, hugged her tightly, and cried. It was a beautiful moment that showed how much admiration she has for the veteran actress.

Previously, when Lim won Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Buil Film Awards, she had said, “I was a fan who wanted to become like you, and I felt like I succeeded when I got to act with you and look into your eyes.”

Despite her powerful performance in The Story of Mrs. Ok, Lim Ji Yeon was not nominated in the TV Best Actress category—something many viewers felt was unfair.

The drama was recognized in several major categories including Best Drama, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress, and Best New Actor.

Lim Ji Yeon played the complex lead role of Gu Deok Yi, who transforms into the noblewoman Ok Taek Young. Her acting was praised for its depth, and the drama itself gained buzz for its strong storyline and empowering message, with ratings peaking at over 13%.
