Actress Oh Yoon Ah shocked fans with her honest story about a past relationship that caused her a lot of pain.

On the April 29 episode of SBS Plus and E Channel’s variety show Because I’m Solo, Oh Yoon Ah talked about her health and personal struggles. At the end of the episode, she was shown visiting the hospital due to high stress levels.

“I think I’ve been under a lot of stress,” she told the doctor. She revealed that she had been getting frequent nosebleeds and needed to adjust her thyroid medication. The doctor also said her fever was unusually high, especially around the heart area, worrying fans even more.

To relax, Oh Yoon Ah met up with her close friend, singer Baek Ji Young. While chatting, Oh Yoon Ah said, “I feel like I was born with a personality that doesn’t get stressed easily,” but still admitted to feeling anxious. Baek Ji Young playfully teased her, saying, “That’s right. When you don’t think, you really don’t think at all,” showing off their close friendship.

Baek Ji Young then said, “You really don’t have an eye for men,” and Oh Yoon Ah agreed. She opened up about her past relationship, saying, “I’ve heard a lot of hurtful things in my life.” She shared that her ex-boyfriend was extremely obsessed with her and pushed hard for marriage.

But the most shocking part? Oh Yoon Ah revealed that her ex even spoke harshly to her son Min Yi. Her son, who has developmental disabilities, is very close to her, and fans were heartbroken to hear that someone had treated him badly.

Meanwhile, Baek Ji Young also shared her thoughts about her husband Jung Suk Won, saying, “I still really like my husband. I’ve never thought about divorce,” but added with a laugh, “Though I can’t say for sure about the future.”

Oh Yoon Ah divorced in 2015 and has been raising her son Min Yi on her own ever since. Fans praised her strength and honesty for sharing such a difficult part of her life on the show.
