YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, who is currently in a heated dispute with the late Kim Sae Ron’s family, has raised serious questions about their actions.
On March 30, Lee Jin Ho posted a new video on his YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho, responding to the press conference held by Kim Sae Ron’s family.
During the conference, the family's lawyer, Bu Ji Seok, stated, "This is not a place to reveal the reason why Kim Sae Ron ended her life."
In response, Lee Jin Ho fired back, saying, "What does this even mean? If they don’t want to reveal the cause of her death, then what have they been doing all this time? Shouldn’t the first thing the family does be to find out why she passed away?"
The lawyer added, "But instead, they accused me of being a stalker or even a murderer based on Kwon Young Chan’s claims, even though the investigation found nothing illegal. In this situation, isn’t it only natural to explain why she died?"
Lee Jin Ho also revisited his previous claims about Kim Sae Ron’s "American husband". He alleged that Kim Sae Ron was with her American husband just days before her passing and was in the process of annulling their marriage. He further claimed that Kim Sae Ron had confided in close friends about suffering verbal and physical abuse from him.
He then questioned, "Why is the family staying silent about the American husband? It has been revealed multiple times that she was deeply distressed because of him, yet they refuse to even mention him. Are they saying they have over 3,000 pieces of evidence against Kim Soo Hyun but nothing at all about the American husband? Are they just going to pretend he never existed?"
Lee Jin Ho expressed his frustration, saying, "This is happening because they have already decided that I and Kim Soo Hyun are responsible. But didn’t I say I have decisive evidence that can reveal the real reason behind her tragic decision? The family has her phone—they can check for themselves what was causing her distress. But instead, they’re only blaming Kim Soo Hyun and me."
He also pointed out that the family released KakaoTalk messages from 2016 and 2018, claiming Kim Sae Ron dated Kim Soo Hyun when she was a minor. "That evidence was only in their possession, yet they didn’t mention that some of it was reconstructed. They only admitted it later. They haven’t even clarified whether the data came from forensic extraction or not."
Lastly, Lee Jin Ho questioned why the family is suing Kim Soo Hyun for defamation but not pursuing any legal action regarding their other claims.
He said, "If they really have proof that he groomed her when she was a minor, why aren’t they suing him for that? If they truly want to restore Kim Sae Ron’s honor, they should use every legal means available—whether it’s statutory rape charges or defamation through false information."
He added, "But they’re only suing me? Then sue Kim Soo Hyun too. And don’t forget about the American husband. The truth must come out. That’s the only way to truly restore her honor and uncover the real reason behind her death."
