YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, known for his reports on celebrity scandals, has finally spoken up about the controversy surrounding his coverage of the late Kim Sae Ron.
On March 13, Lee Jin Ho uploaded a YouTube video titled “Did Kim Soo Hyun Instruct Me? I’ll Go All the Way with Kim Se Ui” on his channel Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho.
At the start of the video, he said, “There are so many false rumors about me right now. I have a heavy heart, but I want to clarify everything.”

He strongly denied claims that Kim Soo Hyun had anything to do with his reports.
“The allegation that I covered Kim Sae Ron’s story under Kim Soo Hyun’s orders is extremely malicious and false. I have never been in contact with Kim Soo Hyun, his agency, or any of their representatives.”
He also stated that the manager he spoke to was not from Gold Medalist (Kim Soo Hyun’s agency).

Lee Jin Ho also addressed accusations that he falsely reported on Kim Sae Ron’s social media post about Kim Soo Hyun.
“I never once claimed that the photo Kim Sae Ron posted of Kim Soo Hyun was fabricated. I didn’t even know about their relationship—I only heard about it through her manager.”
He explained that at the time, Kim Sae Ron’s manager was working hard to help her return to the entertainment industry.
“Around 100 articles were already written about the photo Kim Sae Ron posted. Her manager tried their best to handle the situation. I have evidence to support this.”
The YouTuber also addressed allegations that he contacted Kim Sae Ron excessively.
“The only time I ever called Kim Sae Ron was on January 8. But even then, I couldn’t reach her because I had deleted her number.”
However, he did reach out to her family after her passing.
“On January 20, the day after her funeral, I called her family. I only wanted to apologize out of moral obligation. If they were angry at me, I was willing to listen.”
He also emphasized that since he couldn’t attend the funeral, he wanted to express his condolences in another way.
Criticism against him continues, with netizens questioning why he deleted his past videos about Kim Sae Ron.
“Over the past three years, I only covered Kim Sae Ron in four videos. After hearing about her passing, I set them to private. But now people are saying, ‘If you have nothing to hide, make them public again.’”
He admitted that he is torn about what to do next.
“I don’t know if I should republish them for public judgment or if doing so would only hurt her family more. It’s a serious dilemma.”
Lee Jin Ho also announced that he will take legal action against YouTuber Kim Se Ui, a member of Garo Sero Research Institute, who has been accusing him of unethical reporting.
“It will take time, but I will fully cooperate with the investigation. If I made any false reports, I will take full responsibility. I won’t avoid accountability.”
Kim Sae Ron was found deceased at her home on February 16. Following her passing, her family stated that she suffered greatly due to YouTuber reports about her personal life.
They even hinted at taking legal action against Lee Jin Ho, claiming that his coverage deeply affected her well-being.
As tensions rise, many are wondering—will Lee Jin Ho’s explanation be enough, or will he face legal consequences?
