• Kim Sae Ron Deletes Her Number and Hides After Shocking 'Self-Wedding' Rumors – Is This the End of Her Career?

Actress Kim Sae Ron, who recently sparked a huge controversy over 'self-wedding' rumors, is now facing even more drama as she reportedly deleted her phone number following the intense backlash.

On January 8th, the YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho dropped a shocking video revealing that Kim Sae Ron’s phone number had been deleted. Lee Jin Ho, who tried reaching out to the actress for her side of the story, explained, "I called Kim Sae Ron, but her number was unavailable, and I received an automated voice message saying the number no longer exists. This number was working just a few days ago, which suggests it was deleted due to the controversy surrounding her."

He added, "There’s been no real apology or reflection from her, and this kind of careless behavior is making the public turn against Kim Sae Ron."

The drama all started on January 6th, when Kim Sae Ron posted photos showing her in an all-black outfit with a mysterious man. The images, which had them posing affectionately, led fans to speculate that the actress was revealing her wedding. The caption, "Marry" (Mer-ri, a play on the word "marriage"), added fuel to the rumor fire. However, Kim Sae Ron quickly deleted the photos, making the situation even more confusing and strengthening the "self-wedding" speculation.

Not long after, Kim Sae Ron cleared up the confusion in a phone interview with Hankyung.com, saying, "It was just a photo with friends. The marriage rumors aren’t true." She explained her quick deletion of the photos by saying, "It's hard to explain" and asked for understanding from fans.

This isn't the first time Kim Sae Ron has found herself in the middle of rumors. Last year, she posted a photo with actor Kim Soo Hyun, which led to dating rumors. She chose to stay silent on the matter.

Additionally, Kim Sae Ron made headlines in 2022 after being caught driving under the influence. She caused an accident in Seoul, damaging multiple properties and causing power outages in the area. Her blood alcohol level was far above the legal limit, and she was later fined 20 million KRW for the incident.

Because of this, Kim Sae Ron was blacklisted from the entertainment industry. However, she has since filmed her new movie Guitar Man and is working on making a comeback. Despite the ongoing controversies, fans are wondering whether this will be her chance to bounce back or if the latest scandal will end her career.

  • NewJeans Minji writes touching letter on her birthday during activity halt: “We didn’t stop and we won’t stop”

NewJeans' Minji touched fans' hearts with a handwritten letter on her birthday — even while the group is currently unable to promote due to legal issues.

On May 7, Minji celebrated her birthday by sharing a heartfelt message on the group’s personal SNS account, which the members opened themselves to stay connected with fans.

Minji began her letter with honesty, writing, “I think I’m living a busier life than I expected. When I finally looked up, it was already May, and it was my birthday.”

She admitted that she had a lot she wanted to say, but her thoughts felt “messy.” Still, her message to fans was clear, “I just hope that I, our members, and Bunnies can all be happy. Happiness is the biggest goal in my life.”

Minji then opened up about her personal journey and struggles, saying, “I sometimes think that running toward my happiness by doing what I love might look foolish to others. But isn’t giving up your happiness now for the sake of a future that might not even come… too harsh on yourself?”

Despite everything, she ended on a hopeful note, “I really miss the times when we shared our feelings through the good music we made together. But I always look forward to what’s ahead."

She added, "We didn’t stop here, and we’re not going to stop! It might look like we’re standing still, but I believe we’re growing deeper.”

Her message comes during a difficult time for NewJeans. The group announced last year that they were cutting ties with ADOR, their original agency, after trust was broken. They later began working independently under the new name ‘NJZ’.

However, ADOR responded with legal action — claiming the exclusive contract with NewJeans was still valid and asking the court to stop the group from promoting or signing deals.

The court sided with ADOR and granted an injunction, forcing NewJeans to pause their activities. Their appeal was rejected, and they’ve now filed a second appeal.

Through it all, Minji’s message proves one thing — even when forced to stop, NewJeans' hearts are still moving forward.
