In December 2022, Key took his mother, a former nurse, on a special trip to celebrate her promotion to nursing director.

Now, in the upcoming January 10 episode of I Live Alone, viewers will see Key helping his mother as she prepares to retire after 36 years of service.

But what’s even more heartwarming is that Key made a significant donation to Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital in honor of his mother’s retirement.
On December 30, 2024, Key donated 50 million won to support the hospital's young patients. The touching ceremony was attended by Key and his mom, both looking proud of the special moment.
Key used the prize money he earned from his appearance on the Tving original variety show Crime Scene Returns, where he showcased his sharp detective skills and won the prize money after outsmarting everyone.
