• S.E.S. Bada Shows Love for NewJeans and Prepares for Upcoming Concert

Singer Bada from S.E.S. has once again expressed her support for NewJeans.

On November 20, Bada appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eun Ji’s Gayo Plaza, where she shared stories about her career, family, and upcoming projects.

Bada talked about her winter concert, The Ocean, scheduled for December 7 and 8. She said, “I’ve been doing this concert for 15 years. Originally, I didn’t perform many S.E.S. songs during my solo concerts because I wanted to establish myself as the artist Bada. For over a decade, I focused on my independent career, but these days, S.E.S.’s music has become popular again. Fans miss it, so I’ve started singing S.E.S. songs as their lead vocalist. Our summer concert sold out in a day, which even surprised my company. This time, we added a second show.”

Bada revealed that she covered NewJeans' "Supernatural" during her previous concert. She shared, “I thought I was going to collapse performing that song! But the audience wondered, ‘How is she pulling this off alone?’ I practiced a lot because the song is so good. It reminded me of the S.E.S. vibe, so I really enjoyed it,” adding, “It’s my way of supporting NewJeans.”

She hinted at more covers for the upcoming concert, saying, “Expect some surprises! I promise to relieve everyone’s stress. If you want to recharge for the new year, come join us. Tickets are almost sold out.”

Bada also shared an adorable story about her daughter Lua, who is a fan of the band TOUCHED. “Through filming KBS2’s The Return of Superman, Lua finally got to meet them. My daughter has her own unique energy and loves all kinds of music. One day, her dad introduced her to TOUCHED, and since then, she’s been asking to watch them over and over,” Bada said. She added, “Recently, she’s been humming their song Dust to Dust. She’s only four, but it’s amazing to hear her singing that around the house!”

Bada has consistently shown support for NewJeans and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, even amid recent controversies over Min Hee Jin’s resignation as a board director at ADOR and her legal disputes with HYBE. Bada previously shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing, “These young girls are so brave, putting their lives, precious time, and dreams out there for the world to see. It’s such a tough path. I pray for all K-pop idols, including NewJeans, to endure this period well, grow beautifully, and find happiness in their unique ways.”

On the same day, Min Hee Jin announced her resignation from ADOR’s board of directors. She stated her intent to terminate her shareholder agreement with HYBE and hold the company legally accountable for alleged contract violations and illegal actions.

Bada’s unwavering support for NewJeans and her encouraging words for K-pop idols showcase her dedication to the industry and its younger generation. Fans are eager to see her upcoming performances and hear her powerful voice on stage.

  • Former S.E.S Shoo brings her twin daughters to a night market and reveals emotional story: “I once sold clothes just to get by”

Former S.E.S member Shoo (Yoo Soo Young) warmed hearts as she shared a touching moment with her twin daughters—taking them to the same wholesale market where she once worked during a difficult time in her life.

On May 8, Shoo posted several photos on Instagram showing her spending time with her twin daughters, Ra Hee and Ra Yul, at the Dongdaemun wholesale market. In the caption, she wrote, “Did everyone enjoy the holiday? I feel like I made a memory I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.”

The photos showed Shoo and her daughters smiling brightly while eating and shopping together. Her daughters, now visibly grown up, were even seen wearing similar shoes and clothes as their mom.

Shoo opened up about a painful chapter in her past. “When I was struggling, I once sold clothes I got from Dongdaemun with the help of a friend,” she shared. “I used to go there from night to early morning, picking up fleece clothes, hairpins, and shoes, thinking, ‘My kids would love this if I brought them here.’”

Now that her daughters are older, Shoo finally fulfilled that dream. “We laughed so much while shopping. We bought hairpins, socks, and clothes together,” she said. “They’ve grown so much—they can even wear the same things as me.”

Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Memories of my past flashed before my eyes. I told them how I used to work late at night, carrying heavy bags and walking around for 10 hours straight.”

Shoo emotionally concluded, “I was so happy to show my kids the nighttime world I once worked in.”

Fans who remember Shoo’s twins from The Return of Superman were touched to see how much they’ve grown. Shoo, now a proud mom of three, continues to update fans through her TV appearances and social media, showing her strength as both a mother and former idol.
