    BTS’s Jimin continues to prove his global popularity, setting yet another record in a global K-pop idol poll. In the first week of October (September 30 - October 6, 2024), Jimin claimed the No. 1 spot in the weekly rankings of the "KDOL" poll, receiving an incredible 46,234,116 hearts. This marked his 174th time topping the weekly chart.

    Jimin currently holds a total of 15.764 billion votes in the poll, maintaining his top spot in the Hall of Fame. He leads by over 4.8 billion votes ahead of the second-place artist, showing just how strong his fanbase is around the world.

    As of October 12, Jimin holds the No. 1 position in multiple categories, including most daily No. 1 rankings (1,142 times), most weekly No. 1 rankings (174 times), and most monthly No. 1 rankings (38 times). His overwhelming vote totals have also earned him the longest daily No. 1 streak of 61 days, making him a nine-time Hall of Fame champion.

    The "KDOL" app allows K-pop fans from all over the world, including the U.S., Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea, to vote for their favorite idols in real time. These votes are updated daily, weekly, and monthly, with Jimin consistently dominating the charts.

    As a reward for ranking No. 1 in August, fans can see Jimin’s advertisements displayed at Gangnam Station and Apgujeong Station until October 17. In celebration of his birthday on October 13, more ads will be shown at Samsung Station and Apgujeong Station until November 1.

    At a recent press conference for the new KBS Joy drama Sorry Not Sorry, actress Gong Min Jung made a surprising announcement that caught everyone off guard.

    On December 2, during the production event for the romantic comedy, Gong Min Jung revealed, "I am currently pregnant, and childbirth is just around the corner," leaving the audience in shock.

    The news was shared after host Oh Hyo Joo mentioned that Gong Min Jung had something special to announce.

    Gong Min Jung then took the microphone and surprised everyone, saying, "Just like my character, I am currently pregnant and expecting soon."

    She went on to explain, “After announcing my marriage, I found out I was pregnant, and it made choosing new projects a bit tricky. Originally, my character in Sorry Not Sorry wasn’t pregnant, but the production team kindly changed the role for me.”

    The actress shared her deep connection to her character, Choi Hana, saying, "I really empathized with her, and adding the pregnancy aspect made me feel like I could truly represent the experiences of a mother. That’s when I decided to join the project."

    Gong Min Jung plays alongside Jeon So Min, who stars as Ji Song Yi in Sorry Not Sorry. The drama follows Ji Song Yi, a single woman facing tough times after a breakup, dealing with a mortgage and balancing multiple jobs.

    The drama also stars Jang Hee Ryung, Choi Daniel, and Kim Moo Jin. Sorry Not Sorry premieres on December 5, airing every Thursday at 9 PM.
