  • ITZY's Yuna reveals her mom shaped her head like a protractor when she was a baby and fans can't stop laughing

ITZY's Yuna opened up about her childhood, her school days, and even the surprising secret behind her perfectly shaped head in a fun and heartwarming video.

On April 30, Yuna appeared in a new video on the YouTube channel "You Nani Bit Ina", where she visited her old middle school. Standing in front of the building, Yuna smiled and said, “This is the middle school I went to when I was younger. Well, it was five years ago, so not that long ago.”

She shared a fun memory, saying, “I came back once after graduating because I kept in touch with one of the teachers. All the teachers came out to greet me, and the students were so excited!”

When asked if she was popular back in school, Yuna gave an honest and funny answer. “I don’t think there were any boys’ schools nearby. "

She added, "And when I was in elementary school, boys liked girls who were quiet, cute, and sweet. But I was loud and outgoing, so I wasn’t their type. Back then, boys didn’t really like girls who were too pretty—they preferred someone more plain and simple.”

Later in the video, while filming at a local snack shop, Yuna got a surprise visit from her mom. Shocked, Yuna asked, “Why did you come without saying anything?”

Her mom sweetly revealed that Yuna had always dreamed of being on TV. Yuna added, “I never thought I’d be an idol. I imagined maybe I’d be a show host, an announcer, or even a pretty comedian.”

When asked when she realized Yuna had grown up, her mom said, “After she debuted, she always asked me for feedback. But eventually, she started making her own choices, and that’s when I knew she had grown up. At first, I was even worried about her hand gestures and facial expressions.”

Yuna chimed in, “My mom used to tell me I was doing too much when she watched my fancams.” Her mom smiled and said, “Isn’t Yuna the prettiest when she’s natural? I think she’s slowly learning that on her own.”

Then came the cutest story of the day—Yuna talked about how her head shape became so perfect. “When I was a baby, my mom would lay me down at different angles to make my head round—like using a protractor.”

Yuna laughed. Her mom looked a bit embarrassed but admitted, “I tried that with my first child too, but I started too late—around two months after birth. With Yuna, I started right away.”

Yuna then proudly pointed to her head and said, “Mom’s touch!” making everyone laugh.

Fans were touched by Yuna’s honest and playful personality, and many praised the sweet bond between her and her mom.
