BTSJungkook’s solo track 'Seven' is making waves worldwide with its latest record-breaking feat on Spotify.

As of August 16, Jungkook’s ‘Seven,’ which dropped in July of last year, has hit an incredible 1.8 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s biggest music streaming platform.

In just 389 days since its release, 'Seven' has achieved 1,800,459,410 streams, setting a new record as the fastest song by an Asian artist to reach this milestone. It outpaced Miley Cyrus’s ‘Flowers’ (407 days) and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘drivers license’ (862 days), making it the quickest song to hit 1.8 billion streams in 2023 and among debut tracks.

'Seven' previously made headlines for reaching 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams in record time on Spotify.

On Spotify’s major charts, 'Seven' has dominated with 71 days at number one on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart, a first for an Asian artist. It also held the top spot for 9 weeks on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart in 2023, the longest for a male artist’s song that year. Even a year after its release, 'Seven' remains strong, staying on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart for 56 consecutive weeks, proving its lasting appeal.
