• HYBE Employees on Blind Continue to Criticize Min Hee Jin for ‘Draining’ Resources

HYBE employees continue to express their dissatisfaction towards Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, on the anonymous online forum Blind.

Min Hee Jin is currently facing a forced resignation for allegedly plotting to seize management rights of the subsidiary.

Blind is an online forum exclusively open to verified employees of registered companies, meaning all users are confirmed employees of HYBE.

In light of the recent developments in the ongoing dispute, more Blind users are posting complaints directed at Min Hee Jin.

Many believe that the success of the girl group NewJeans was not possible without HYBE’s support and resources, contrary to Min Hee Jin’s claims.

    One user stated,

"She claimed she could have done it without HYBE’s capital. She said she feels like she gave birth to the artists herself. But let’s ask her this.

Where were the NewJeans members originally trained?

Where was the ‘Min Hee Jin girl group’ originally supposed to debut?

On what YouTube channel were MVs like ‘Hype Boy’, ‘Attention’, and all of NewJeans’ debut songs promoted?

Who oversaw NewJeans’ global streaming campaigns on Spotify, YouTube, etc?

    Who developed the Phoning app?

Who plans and hosts NewJeans’ fan meetings?

Who helped NewJeans score a spot on the Lallapalooza lineup, exclusive coverage through Billboard, a spot as a performer and an award at the BBMAs?

Who oversaw the work related to NewJeans’ brand endorsements, brand partnerships, and sponsorships?

Who negotiates NewJeans’ appearances on Korean, Japanese, and American award ceremonies?

Who is in charge of NewJeans’ press relations? And about 50 other questions. All of this was done by HYBE employees, not ADOR." Other Blind users added comments like,

“Even then, she told the members to never mention HYBE in any of their acceptance speeches, never talk about any other HYBE Labels artists, and she blocked all questions related to the members’ experiences as trainees because they spent that time under Source Music.

She despised HYBE so much but when she was asked to design the layout of the HYBE building, she requested that she get the top floor, the 16th floor, to herself, how disgraceful can she be, and why does she love carrying around that HYBE shopping bag so much?”

“What did the HYBE employees do to deserve this?;; Harsh language, power tripping, attitude issues all unbefitting of her outer appearance, and ordering us to give them back finished results based on a timeline that they decided without any explanation on our end. They always kept information that we needed to carry out our tasks secret and called it for ‘security reasons’.

That information that even external parties like Dolphiners Films has access to, HYBE employees are not allowed to have. Then don’t ask us to do the work! All the employees at that label are little Min Hee Jin's too. They’re crazy good at power tripping.”

“This is so right. Every time they needed the business division or administrative division, they drained all our resources and now they turn around and say they got no help? Thinking about Phoning again just shot up my blood pressure.”

  • Lim Ji Yeon breaks down in tears as Chu Young Woo and Jeon Do Yeon win big at Baeksang Awards

Lim Ji Yeon showed just how close she is to her co-stars as she tearfully celebrated their big wins at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.

The ceremony took place on May 5 at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, with hosts Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum leading the night. Lim Ji Yeon attended as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in the film category for Revolver. Though she didn’t take home the award, she drew attention for her touching reaction to her colleagues' wins.

First up, her The Story of Mrs. Ok co-star Chu Young Woo won Best New Actor in the TV category.

During his heartfelt speech, he humbly said, “I don’t think everything I’ve done so far is just because of me,” as he thanked the production team.

When the camera panned to Lim Ji Yeon, she was seen holding back tears but smiling proudly.

Later that evening, Lim Ji Yeon couldn't hide her emotions when Jeon Do Yeon—her Revolver co-star—won Best Actress in the film category.

As soon as Jeon Do Yeon's name was called, Lim Ji Yeon immediately stood up, hugged her tightly, and cried. It was a beautiful moment that showed how much admiration she has for the veteran actress.

Previously, when Lim won Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Buil Film Awards, she had said, “I was a fan who wanted to become like you, and I felt like I succeeded when I got to act with you and look into your eyes.”

Despite her powerful performance in The Story of Mrs. Ok, Lim Ji Yeon was not nominated in the TV Best Actress category—something many viewers felt was unfair.

The drama was recognized in several major categories including Best Drama, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress, and Best New Actor.

Lim Ji Yeon played the complex lead role of Gu Deok Yi, who transforms into the noblewoman Ok Taek Young. Her acting was praised for its depth, and the drama itself gained buzz for its strong storyline and empowering message, with ratings peaking at over 13%.

Fans continue to shower Lim Ji Yeon with support, praising her talent, grace, and the sincere love she shows her fellow actors.
