SBS is bringing together Park Min Young, BTOB's Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo for its upcoming romance drama Nine to Six, which has officially secured a November 25 premiere date. Along with its well-known cast, the series is drawing particular attention because Go Soo is returning to the romance genre for the first time in approximately 15 years.

On October 21, SBS confirmed the broadcast schedule and shared photos from the cast's first script reading, offering an early glimpse of the characters and the chemistry viewers can expect.

Nine to Six tells the story of two people with completely different approaches to life who find themselves navigating love, work, and personal relationships. The office romance explores what happens when someone who relies on logic meets someone who leads with warmth and emotion.

Park Min Young will play Kang Yi Ji, a dedicated career woman who puts logic first and approaches her responsibilities with confidence. She's someone who rarely makes mistakes at work, but when romance enters the picture, she isn't nearly as sure of herself.

During the script reading, Park Min Young reportedly brought the character to life through her confident tone and expressive acting, capturing both Kang Yi Ji's professional side and her awkwardness when dealing with romantic feelings.

Meanwhile, Yook Sungjae takes on the role of Han Sun Woo, a caring younger man whose warm personality stands in contrast to Kang Yi Ji's practical nature.

Their different personalities are expected to play an important role in the developing romance. During the reading, Park Min Young and Yook Sungjae reportedly displayed comfortable chemistry, giving an early preview of their characters' relationship.

Go Soo's participation is another major reason to look forward to Nine to Six, especially as the actor returns to romantic storytelling after a 15-year gap.

He will portray Park Hyun Tae, a highly capable executive who believes employees should be judged by their skills and performance rather than personal connections.

At the script reading, Go Soo reportedly showed a relaxed yet commanding presence, naturally expressing the character's professional confidence and leadership.

His return to the genre adds another interesting element to the drama, which brings together romantic relationships and the everyday pressures of office life.

Joo Hyun Young also joins the cast as Shin Ji Won, a full-time housewife of seven years and a close younger friend of Kang Yi Ji.

While dealing with her own realistic concerns, Shin Ji Won becomes someone Kang Yi Ji can turn to for relationship advice. Her character is expected to bring humor and relatable moments, particularly when helping her friend understand romance.

The supporting lineup includes Kim Mi Kyung, Nam Yoon Ho, Choi Ji Soo, Chun Woo Jin, Jung Hae Kyun, Jo Bok Rae, Cha Chung Hwa, and Bae Yoo Ram.

The drama will also reunite Park Min Young and Kim Mi Kyung, who have previously shown natural mother-and-daughter chemistry in other productions. This time, viewers can look forward to more of their familiar interactions.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae Kyun, Jo Bok Rae, and Cha Chung Hwa will portray difficult workplace superiors, adding office conflicts and humorous exchanges to the story.

With Park Min Young and Yook Sungjae leading the central romance, Go Soo returning to the genre after more than a decade, and an experienced supporting cast, Nine to Six brings together several elements that could appeal to fans of Korean romantic comedies.

SBS' Nine to Six will premiere on Wednesday, November 25, at 9 PM KST.

The newly confirmed broadcast date gives viewers something to mark on their calendars as the drama prepares to explore the challenges of balancing professional success, personal happiness, and unexpected romance.
