ITZY member Chaeryeong is officially preparing to make her solo debut on November 9, marking a new chapter in her music career seven years after debuting with the group.
On October 19, JYP Entertainment announced that Chaeryeong will release her first solo mini album, Lovesick, featuring a title track of the same name.
The agency shared the official album trailer, tracklist, and promotional schedule through its social media channels, giving fans their first look at Chaeryeong's upcoming solo project.
Since debuting with ITZY in 2019, Chaeryeong has gained attention for her smooth dance performances, stable live vocals, and entertaining personality. Her upcoming release will mark her first opportunity to showcase her individual musical style through a solo album.
The trailer for Lovesick introduces an unusual love story through a book-like concept. It follows Chaeryeong as someone who rarely reacts to the things happening around her, even in surprising situations.
However, her quiet and indifferent attitude begins to change when she unexpectedly develops feelings for someone or something special. The mysterious storyline offers an early glimpse of the album's concept without revealing its full meaning.
Chaeryeong's first solo mini album will feature four tracks:
- Lovesick (title track)
- Moonlit Club
- Scent
- Favorite Reason
Notably, Chaeryeong participated in writing the lyrics for Favorite Reason, the album's fourth track, adding a personal touch to her first solo release.
Ahead of the album's release, JYP Entertainment plans to unveil additional promotional content, including concept photos, music video images, music video teasers, and an album preview.
Chaeryeong will also hold a countdown livestream at 5 PM KST on November 9, one hour before the album becomes available.
Chaeryeong's debut solo mini album Lovesick, led by its title track Lovesick, will officially be released on November 9 at 6 PM KST.
