BTS member Jungkook has reached another major achievement with his debut solo album GOLDEN, which has reportedly surpassed 12 million equivalent album sales (EAS) worldwide.

Released in November 2023, GOLDEN has continued to show strong global performance, reaching the 12 million milestone nearly three years after its release. The figure represents an increase of 2 million units from the 10 million recorded in September 2025.

The album has reportedly secured the No. 1 position among K-pop solo albums in equivalent album sales, highlighting Jungkook's continued success as a solo artist.

Unlike traditional physical album sales, equivalent album sales (EAS) measure overall music consumption by combining album purchases, digital downloads, and streaming activity through a conversion system. This means the 12 million milestone does not represent physical album copies sold alone.

Beyond its album-equivalent sales achievement, GOLDEN has also surpassed 6.2 billion streams on Spotify and spent 153 weeks on the platform's Weekly Top Albums Global chart.

The album also demonstrated strong performance on international music charts, spending 25 weeks on the Billboard 200 and eight weeks on the UK's Official Albums Chart Top 100.

Additionally, GOLDEN remained on Apple Music's Worldwide Albums chart for more than 620 days and its European Albums chart for over 530 days, reflecting its lasting popularity across different markets.

The album also received recognition from major international publications, including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and Uproxx, which included it in their year-end music selections for 2023.

With GOLDEN surpassing 12 million equivalent album sales, Jungkook continues to strengthen his position as a globally successful K-pop solo artist, demonstrating the album's lasting appeal years after its release.
