Epik High and Davichi are seeing a strong response to their first official music collaboration.
Their new single Mise-en-scène, released on October 13 at 6 PM KST, quickly reached No. 1 on a YouTube music video ranking and No. 2 on a domestic music chart, according to the report.
The song also entered the upper ranks of major Korean streaming platforms, including Melon, giving the two veteran acts an immediate chart response with their first joint release.
Mise-en-scène marks the first song officially released by Epik High and Davichi together. The two acts previously appeared together through content on Epik High’s YouTube channel *EPIKASE* in October 2025 before turning their chemistry into a full music collaboration.
The track combines Epik High’s hip-hop style with Davichi’s vocals, while Silica Gel’s Kim Han Joo participated in writing, composing, and arranging the song.
Its music video has also attracted attention for its distinctive visual concept and detailed scenes, helping the release gain traction across both video and music platforms.
The early results give Mise-en-scène a strong start, with Epik High and Davichi’s first collaboration immediately reaching high positions on both music and video charts.
