Firefighters in Lima stepped in to help BTS fans waiting outside Estadio San Marcos after some concertgoers reportedly showed signs of dehydration and dizziness while standing in the sun for long periods.

BTS held three sold-out *ARIRANG* concerts in Lima on October 7, 9, and 10, drawing around 151,500 fans in total.

According to Peruvian outlet RPP, firefighters were seen spraying water over ARMYs waiting behind barriers outside the stadium on October 10. The move was intended to help cool the crowd as fans waited for entry under direct sunlight.

Some fans had arrived hours early, while others reportedly stayed near the stadium overnight in hopes of securing better positions. On the first concert day, lines reportedly stretched for more than one kilometer.

The city of Lima thanked emergency crews for helping with safety measures, stating, *“We appreciate the valuable support of the fire department, which worked closely with the city of Lima on the event safety plan.”*

Local authorities also adjusted crowd-control measures during the three-day run. For the final concert, stadium entry was moved earlier to 2 PM, additional portable toilets were installed, and dozens of free buses were provided after the show.

One 17-year-old fan who traveled from Huancavelica told RPP, *“I came from Huancavelica to see BTS. I love them with all my heart.”*

The Lima concerts became BTS’s first performances in Peru and marked another sold-out stop on the group’s ongoing *ARIRANG* world tour.

BTS is set to continue the tour in Santiago, Chile, with concerts scheduled for October 14, 16, and 17.
