Shin Min Ah has reflected on her 25-year career, sharing how grateful she feels to have continued acting without losing the passion she had when she first started.

The actress spoke about her journey during the Actors House event at the 31st Busan International Film Festival on October 10.

Marking 25 years since her debut, Shin Min Ah said the time seemed to pass quickly because she had simply continued working.

She shared, *“From then until now, I just kept working hard. Looking back, a lot of time has passed.”*

Shin Min Ah also credited longtime support from viewers and fans for allowing her to remain active for so many years.

She added, *“I’ve been able to continue because so many people consistently supported and loved me. I think that is something I’m truly fortunate and happy about.”*

Looking back on her early days, Shin Min Ah recalled entering the entertainment industry at a very young age during the popularity of teen magazines and young fashion models.

She admitted that part of her motivation at the time came from wanting something different from her ordinary routine.

Shin Min Ah said, *“I think there was also a part of me that wanted to escape my repetitive everyday life. I wanted to become an adult quickly.”*

She remembered feeling proud and excited about working alongside adults at such a young age, saying the experience itself was enjoyable.

Now, 25 years later, Shin Min Ah said there is something she would like to tell her younger self.

She shared, *“I would tell myself to be thankful that I’ve come this far without forgetting the passion and feelings I had back then.”*

Despite her long career, Shin Min Ah said her desire to keep acting has not changed.

She explained, *“I still want to keep doing projects and keep moving forward. I think being an actress is my destiny.”*

Shin Min Ah added that she has learned to accept the pressures that come with the profession and tries to recover quickly when facing stress.

The actress is currently promoting the Disney+ series *The Remarried Empress* while also filming the MBC drama *Wednesday, Thursday, Friday*, continuing the career she began 25 years ago.
