KISS OF LIFE’s Natty became emotional after receiving a surprise video message from her father, who looked back on her decision to leave Thailand for Korea when she was only 12 years old.
The emotional moment aired on the October 9 episode of KBS2’s *Happy Together – Better Because We’re Not Alone*, where Natty performed alongside Lee Hae In.
After their performance, the production team unexpectedly played a video letter from Natty’s father.
He began by sharing how happy he and Natty’s mother were to see her performing with Lee Hae In.
He then reflected on Natty’s long journey in Korea, saying, *“You went to Korea with such a small body when you were 12, and you have grown up so well. Mom and Dad are very proud of you.”*
Natty moved to South Korea at a young age to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, spending years training and appearing on survival programs before eventually debuting with KISS OF LIFE.
Her father continued, *“We will always support you and be your strength, today, tomorrow, and forever. We are proud of both of you, and I hope everything you do in the future comes true. We love you both.”*
The unexpected message brought Natty to tears.
Lee Hae In, who has known Natty since they appeared together on *Idol School* in 2017, noted that Natty rarely cries.
Natty explained why the message affected her so deeply, saying, *“I never imagined this. My dad has never really said things like this to me directly. Hearing him say it makes me feel like I endured well and that I’ve done well until now.”*
The moment highlighted how much Natty had gone through since leaving her family and home country at such a young age, while her father’s message offered a rare personal look at how her family viewed her long journey in Korea.
