Girls’ Generation has reunited as a full eight-member group in new official content, raising excitement ahead of the group’s 20th debut anniversary in 2027.
On October 9, Girls’ Generation’s official social media accounts revealed images for the group’s 2027 season’s greetings under the theme *Twenty in Frost*.
The photos feature all eight members together: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, YoonA, and Seohyun.
The full-group appearance is especially meaningful as Girls’ Generation approaches its 20th anniversary. The group debuted on August 5, 2007, and has previously marked major anniversaries with new music.
For their 10th anniversary in 2017, Girls’ Generation released their sixth full-length album *Holiday Night*. Five years later, the group reunited as eight members for their 15th anniversary album *FOREVER 1* in 2022.
Expectations for another full-group project have also grown following comments from the members.
Tiffany Young previously said on MBC’s *The Manager* that preparations were underway for a 20th anniversary project and mentioned the possibility of a comeback in the summer of 2027.
Yuri later shared on Kim Yeon Koung’s YouTube channel *Bread Unnie Kim Yeon Koung* that the members had been holding meetings and discussing music, while also mentioning the possibility of a world tour.
However, no official schedule for a new album, comeback, or world tour has been announced yet.
For now, the newly released *Twenty in Frost* season’s greetings mark the latest official reunion of Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, YoonA, and Seohyun as Girls’ Generation prepares to celebrate two decades together.
