KATSEYE’s Sophia confirms official return date after health-related hiatus

KATSEYE’s Sophia is officially set to return to group activities in January 2027 after taking a break for health reasons.

On October 9, HYBE and Geffen Records announced through Weverse that Sophia will resume activities with KATSEYE beginning in the first week of January.

The companies stated, *“Sophia will return to KATSEYE’s group activities starting from the first week of January 2027.”*

However, Sophia will not participate in the North American dates of *THE WILDWORLD TOUR* or the group’s remaining promotional activities in 2026.

Sophia previously paused her activities in August ahead of the release of KATSEYE’s third EP, *WILD*, due to health concerns. Her upcoming return will come about five months after the start of her hiatus.

With an official date now confirmed, fans can expect Sophia to reunite with KATSEYE for group schedules beginning in early January 2027.
