Actors Yoo Seung Ho and Im Se Joo have confirmed that they were once in a relationship, but the surprising update is that the two have already gone their separate ways.
On October 8, Yoo Seung Ho's agency officially addressed reports claiming that the two actors had been dating for six years.
Rather than simply denying or confirming the dating rumors, the agency revealed that Yoo Seung Ho and Im Se Joo were previously a couple but are no longer together.
In an official statement, the agency said, "The two actors were previously in a romantic relationship, but they have since broken up and are now maintaining a good relationship as colleagues."
The clarification came after a report earlier that day claimed Yoo Seung Ho and Im Se Joo had been in a relationship for approximately six years.
According to the report, the two first became close while working together on the 2020 tvN drama Memorist, which reportedly led to their romantic relationship.
The report also claimed that they had been spotted spending time together in public areas, including Seoul's Mapo District and Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
However, Yoo Seung Ho's agency clarified that although the two had dated in the past, they were no longer romantically involved.
The agency did not reveal when the relationship ended or provide further details about their breakup.
Yoo Seung Ho made his acting debut as a child actor in the 2000 MBC drama Daddy Fish and has since appeared in numerous television dramas and films.
Meanwhile, Im Se Joo began her entertainment career as a singer in 2011 under the stage name Heora before moving into acting. Her drama appearances include My Golden Life, My Only One, Zombie Detective, and A Killer Paradox.
