BTS member Jungkook has reached another major milestone with his solo hit *Seven*, which has officially earned platinum certification from the British Phonographic Industry.

The certification was awarded after *Seven* surpassed 600,000 units in the United Kingdom, moving the song up from its previous gold status.

Released in 2023, *Seven* had already made history in the UK as the first debut song by a K-pop solo artist to surpass 400,000 units and receive gold certification.

The song also performed strongly on the UK Official Singles Chart, debuting at No. 3 and remaining on the Top 100 for 14 weeks.

Jungkook has also earned several other UK certifications. *Standing Next to You*, *Seven*, *3D*, *Left and Right*, and his solo album *GOLDEN* have all received silver certifications.

Outside the UK, *Seven* has collected multiple international certifications. The song earned double platinum status from the Recording Industry Association of America after surpassing 2 million certified units in the United States.

It also received platinum certifications in Japan, France, and New Zealand, as well as double platinum certification in Canada. Gold certifications have been recorded in countries including Italy, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain.

*Seven* previously debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for 15 weeks.

The song has also passed 3.1 billion streams on Spotify, further extending its record as one of Jungkook’s biggest solo releases.

With its latest UK platinum certification, *Seven* continues to add to Jungkook’s growing list of global achievements more than three years after its release.
