Kim Ji Won has opened up about the anxiety she experienced during her two-year break from television following the huge success of Queen of Tears.

The actress will appear on the October 7 episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block, marking her first solo variety show appearance since her debut.

Despite receiving strong attention for many of her dramas, Kim Ji Won revealed that long breaks between projects sometimes made her worry about being forgotten by the public.

She admitted that during those periods, she would find herself thinking, “What if people forget me?”

The comment comes as Kim Ji Won prepares to return to television after approximately two years away from dramas. Her previous series, Queen of Tears, became a major hit and recorded the highest viewership ratings in tvN drama history at the time.

During the program, Kim Ji Won also looks back on several important moments from her acting career, including The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun, Fight for My Way, My Liberation Notes, and Queen of Tears.

She will discuss how some of her best-known characters were created and share stories from behind the scenes without revealing major plot details.

Kim Ji Won also reflects on how she has changed between her 20s and 30s and shares the small activities that help her recharge when she feels overwhelmed.

Her appearance on You Quiz on the Block offers a more personal look at the uncertainty that can come with an actor's time away from the screen, even after starring in one of Korea's most successful recent dramas.
