BTS’s Jungkook became a major talking point among fans in Colombia after a playful interaction during the group’s recent concerts in Bogotá spread across social media.
BTS kicked off the South American leg of their *ARIRANG* world tour with concerts at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá on October 2 and 3. The shows marked the group’s first full-group concerts in Colombia.
Toward the end of one performance, Jungkook was delivering his closing remarks when fans throughout the stadium began repeatedly shouting *“Papacito!”*
“Papacito” is a Spanish expression that can be used playfully to compliment an attractive man. Videos shared after the concert captured the crowd directing the chant toward Jungkook, leading fans online to nickname the moment “Papacito JK.”
Concertgoers also shared enthusiastic reactions to seeing Jungkook in person, with clips and posts from the Bogotá performances quickly spreading across social media.
According to reports following the concerts, Jungkook’s name remained among the prominent real-time trends in Colombia and globally as fans continued sharing moments from the shows.
BTS will continue the South American leg of *ARIRANG* with stops in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo. The regional schedule includes a total of 14 concerts across five cities.
