KATSEYE’s Animal has reached a new milestone, staying on both the UK Official Singles Chart and Spotify’s global weekly chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest UK Official Charts for October 2 to 8, Animal, a pre-release track from KATSEYE’s third EP WILD, ranked No. 26 on the Official Singles Top 100.
The song previously reached a career-high No. 12 and has now remained on the UK singles chart for 10 straight weeks.
Its long-running performance is also continuing on Spotify. On the latest Weekly Top Songs Global chart for September 25 to October 1, Animal ranked No. 50, extending its charting streak to 10 weeks. The track previously peaked at No. 8 on the global Spotify ranking.
KATSEYE’s other recent releases are also maintaining their positions.
Hootie Frutti ranked No. 64 on the UK Official Singles Top 100, marking its seventh consecutive week on the chart after previously peaking at No. 16. On Spotify’s global weekly chart, the song placed at No. 148 for its seventh straight week.
Meanwhile, the group’s EP WILD, which debuted at No. 2 on the UK Official Albums Top 100, remained on the chart for a seventh consecutive week at No. 83.
KATSEYE has also built a notable record in the UK this year. The group placed five songs inside the Official Singles Top 40 in 2026: Internet Girl, PINKY UP, ICONIC BY MISTAKE, Animal, and Hootie Frutti.
According to the Official Charts, this made KATSEYE the first girl group since Little Mix in 2021 to score five UK Top 40 hits within a single year.
The latest update extends Animal’s run from nine to 10 consecutive weeks on both the UK Official Singles Chart and Spotify’s global weekly ranking, showing that the song is continuing to attract listeners well after its release.
KATSEYE will next begin the North American leg of THE WILDWORLD TOUR in Miami on October 13 before appearing at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18.
