i-dle’s Soyeon has earned the first music show trophy of her latest solo promotions with I'm Gonna TOESA (Narr. Kian84).
The title track from her first full-length solo album What a Wonderful Life took first place on the October 1 broadcast of Mnet’s M Countdown.
Following the win, Soyeon thanked fans through Cube Entertainment.
“I’m most thankful to Neverland for giving me first place,” she said. “I’ll work even harder on my music so I can always be a singer Neverland can be proud of.”
She added, “This promotion feels really romantic to me. Thank you so much for giving it so much love.”
The music show win gives Soyeon another concrete achievement for a solo comeback that has already performed strongly on Korean digital charts.
Her self-written title track previously reached No. 1 on major platforms including Melon, Genie, and Bugs, while also topping YouTube Music’s weekly popular songs chart, FLO’s 24-hour chart, VIBE’s Today Top 100, and iChart’s real-time and weekly rankings.
The song also achieved a Perfect All-Kill, becoming Soyeon’s fifth career PAK and her first with a solo self-produced track rather than an i-dle group release.
On Circle Chart’s week 39 rankings, the track also reportedly placed No. 1 in four categories, including the Digital Chart and Streaming Chart.
With its first M Countdown trophy now added to those digital achievements, I'm Gonna TOESA has given Soyeon a notable milestone during her latest solo era.
