TWICE’s Jihyo is taking on a major new role in Europe as the first announced MC for *D Awards 2027 in Paris*.
Organizers announced on October 1 that Jihyo will serve as a main host while also performing at the upcoming awards ceremony in Paris.
The event has been promoted by organizers as the first K-pop awards ceremony of its kind to be held in Europe.
Jihyo is also part of the first performer lineup alongside DPR IAN, P1Harmony, KISS OF LIFE, and AND2BLE.
As both an MC and performer, the TWICE leader is expected to help lead the ceremony while also presenting a solo stage for fans in Paris.
The organizers stated, *“Please look forward to performances from artists with different personalities and energy in Paris, the cultural center of Europe.”*
They added, *“Additional hosts and the next performer lineup, including Jihyo, will be revealed one by one.”*
P1Harmony will make their third consecutive appearance at the awards, while DPR IAN, KISS OF LIFE, and rookie group AND2BLE will also join the first announced lineup.
*D Awards 2027 in Paris* will take place on January 15 and 16, 2027, at Plenitude Arena in Paris. Channel A has been confirmed as the Korean broadcasting partner.
