Kim Jae Won is taking on his first film role with the upcoming movie "Final Interview".
The actor, who has continued to gain attention through dramas such as *Our Blues*, *King the Land*, *Hierarchy*, *The Tale of Lady Ok*, and most recently *Yumi’s Cells 3*, will make his big-screen debut as Han Jin Woo.
*Final Interview* follows six job applicants who gather for a final interview but become suspicious of one another after discovering mysterious envelopes containing personal revelations about each candidate.
Kim Jae Won plays Han Jin Woo, a warm and considerate applicant who does not judge people based on appearances. After spending a month working with the other candidates in team discussions, he hopes all six of them can succeed together.
However, the situation becomes increasingly tense after the envelopes appear.
In one scene, Han Jin Woo warns the others, *“Anyone can see that this envelope is a trap.”* Despite his efforts to trust his teammates, his own intentions eventually come under suspicion as more secrets are revealed.
Speaking about the role, Kim Jae Won said, *“I was attracted to Han Jin Woo’s sincerity and the mystery hidden behind it.”*
He added, *“I paid attention to even the smallest details, from his appearance to maintaining the tension of someone who tries to stay neutral.”*
Director Kim Jung Hoon also praised the actor’s performance, saying Han Jin Woo needed to be someone audiences would naturally like and want to trust until the end.
The director shared, *“Kim Jae Won conveyed the character’s sincerity through his warm image, comforting voice, and ability to bring subtle changes even to a single line.”*
After building his television career and recently appearing as Shin Soon Rok in *Yumi’s Cells 3*, Kim Jae Won will now show a different side of himself through his first movie role.
*Final Interview* is scheduled to open in theaters on November 4.
